Calico (Callie) is a 13 yr. old sorrel and white Paint mare.  She was donated by Eleanor Thomas of New Blaine, AR  who drives down to HOPE Landing at least once a year to visit her sweet friend.  The children are visually attracted to Callie because of her pretty painted coat.  She works with children with disabilities and without disabilities and is sponsored by Sarah Kinard.



Cowboy is  a 13 yr. old grey Quarter Horse gelding.  He loves attention and is usually the first one to the fence for a pet (or a snack)!  The children love to paint Cowboy because the pretty colors show up on his light coat, and he is a good choice for dismounted interactions such as brushing.  He is owned and sponsored by Olivia Wylie.



Doc – Doc whose registered name is Chancey Premonition, is a 25 yr. old bay Quarter Horse gelding who had a previous rodeo career as a Team Penning horse.  We use Doc mostly for our clients with cerebral palsy because of his smooth movement.  He is very patient with children who are just learning but can also challenge those who are “seasoned” riders.  He was donated by Roy and Beverly Tittle of Charleston, AR.  Doc is sponsored by Amercable and last year appeared on stage at the South Arkansas Arts Center in a company performance!



Granny Belle – Granny Belle whose name is Belle Star, is a 24 yr. old bay Quarter Horse mare. She is the horse we introduce children to when they are afraid because of the gentle way Granny will lower her head, asking for a stroke on her muzzle.  That puts the children at ease and is just one of Granny's ways of doing her part.  Granny Belle is owned by Patricia Hall of Waldron, AR and is sponsored by the First Baptist Children-in-Action Kids.



Hobbs – Hobbs is an 8 yr. old sorrel Quarter Horse gelding.  He is very laid back and kind with one gorgeous mane!  He is tall with lots of movement in the trot that's great for stimulation.  He is owned by Deri Dugal of Strong, AR and is sponsored by Diana Balch of Caldwell,TX.



Rio – Rio is a 17 yr. old  black Welsh Pony.  Everyone loves Rio!  Though he's as stubborn as most ponies are, he consistently works hard in the arena with the children, giving 100%.  He is owned by HOPE Landing and is sponsored by Will Colvin.



Spongebob – Spongebob Round Britches is an 8 yr. old grey Appaloosa gelding.  He is the newest addition to HOPE Landing's staff of horses and continues to train while working with several children without disabilities on riding oriented goals.  Spongebob is owned by HOPE Landing and is sponsored by the grandchildren of Pat and the late John Lee Anthony.
