Children's Clinic of HOPE
Part of HOPE Landing's ambience lies in the warm, home-like atmosphere
of the children's clinic. Once a long-time residence of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Works,
this unique ranch house now offers children with disabilities and their families a comfortable and beautiful place to receive care.
Last year, HOPE Landing served 207 children and made close to 9,000 visits with these children through the many services offered here at the ranch and within the community.
The number of children needing services is increasing,
but space is not available to meet this demand.

HOPE LANDING MUST EXPAND TO SERVE MORE CHILDREN.

Architectural plans have been developed to build a 5,000 square foot addition to
the existing clinic. This addition includes a large physical therapy gym, a large occupational therapy room, a sensory room, 3 speech-language/general purpose therapy rooms, a family consultation suite, 6 observation rooms for research and family/student education, administrative offices, and a comfortable reception/waiting area for families complete with a porch for outdoor enjoyment.
Once the Corporation completes this project, new services can be added to enhance the quality of care given to the children and a broader range of diagnoses and needs can be addressed. These may include but are not limited to:
Behaviorial Management
Team Diagnostics
Professional Mental Health
Diet and Nutrition
The Barbara Barton Matheny Children's Clinic of HOPE will not only provide a state-of-the-art environment for innovative therapies and research, but will be a place of added warmth and beauty where children of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds can receive the individual attention and specialized care needed to reach their potential.
